The buildout of medium- and heavy-duty vehicle charging infrastructure is the central undertaking of the Clean Corridor Coalition (C3) project. A reliable network of high-power charging stations along the corridor is what makes zero-emission freight movement possible, and standing up that network—while delivering cleaner air and other lasting benefits to the communities the corridor runs through—is the core objective of the program. To get there, each of the four coalition states—New Jersey, Connecticut, Maryland, and Delaware—is conducting its own solicitation to select the vendors that will build, operate, and maintain charging sites within its borders.
