As sales of zero-emission medium- and heavy-duty vehicles (ZE-MHDVs) increase, understanding the workforce needed to build supporting charging infrastructure becomes critical for planning and policy. The International Council on Clean Transportation partnered with the consulting firm Black & Veatch (BV) to design prototypes for zero-emission MHDV charging facilities and policy scenarios, to project job growth in the sector between 2026 and 2032.
