eRoadMAP is a first-of-its-kind interactive online tool for understanding where, when, and how much EV charging load is likely to materialize on the U.S. electric grid. The tool incorporates commercial vehicle electrification projections and enables users to explore energy needs at the individual feeder level where critical utility planning occurs. It includes light-, medium-, and heavy-duty vehicle projections and helps utilities identify regions where grid upgrades may be needed to support commercial vehicle electrification. The tool provides granular analysis capabilities for utility planning and investment decisions related to transportation electrification infrastructure.
